Where We Started
Back in 2019, I found myself sitting in countless meetings where financial jargon flew around like confetti at a wedding. Everyone nodded along, but you could see the glazed looks—people were lost. That's when it hit me: we weren't just dealing with numbers; we were dealing with a communication gap that was costing businesses real money.
Starting Koad Forj felt like a natural evolution rather than a dramatic career shift. I'd spent years working in financial consulting, watching brilliant minds struggle with concepts that should be accessible to everyone. The "aha" moments when someone finally grasped cash flow analysis or risk assessment? Those moments became addictive.
What began as informal training sessions for colleagues has grown into something much bigger. We're not trying to turn everyone into chartered accountants—that's not the point. Instead, we focus on giving people the tools they need to make informed decisions, whether they're running a small business or managing their personal investments.
